Hon. Agok Makur is the Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning, a post he held since March 2020.

Hon. Agok is a seasoned politician and comes from a staunch background of activism and academia as well as a technocrat.

He holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) as well as a Bachelor’s Degree (LL. B) in the same field from the University of Al Nilain in Khartoum, Sudan.

He previously pursued a course of English and Arabic languages at the college of education at the University of Juba.
