Hon. Dier Tong Ngor is the current Minister of Finance and Planning.
He previously served as the Governor of the Bank of South Sudan from 2018-2022. He also served in the Central Bank at different capacities including being 1st Deputy Governor, Director General for Banking Supervision among others.
He also worked oversees in the Republic of Ireland as the Executive Director for Africa Centre.
Hon. Dier Tong holds a PhD from Walden University-USA (2022), Master of Philosophy (2018) same University and MBA from University College Dublin, Ireland (1996) as well as BSc From University of Khartoum in Sudan (1986).
