I take this opportunity to congratulate the President of the Republic, H.E. Salva Kiir Mayardit, the entire government and the people of South Sudan on this season of Christmas and New Year celebrations.
It is such times, that call for reunions of families, friends and dear ones as we celebrate and mark the occasion of the birth of Jesus Christ the savior.
As a government, and through the ministry of Finance and Planning, we manage to achieve tangible economic milestones despites the plenty of challenges facing us.
My ministry is committed to implement the 11 priorities of the Public Financial Management reforms, which are aimed at strengthening our economy and empower our people.
So far we have past the 2022/2023 Fiscal Year Budget, paid the salaries of public servants upto date, cleared some of our obligation arrears to the regional organizations and settled a considerable payment of our missions abroad.
We hope the new year comes with positive economic developments to usher our country into a new path of peace, development, prosperity and unity of purpose for our beloved country South Sudan.
