Minister of Finance and Planning meets an IGAD delegation

The Minister of Finance and Planning, Dr. Dier Tong Ngor met with a delegation of Inter Governmental Authority on Development (IGAD) led by Mr. Josphat Onyari the Director for Administration and Finance of the IGAD secretariat.

The meeting discussed means of settling the country’s obligations to the regional body, which has turned into a backlog of arrears.
The move is expected to open up ways of exploring job opportunities for South Sudanese in the bloc.

Minister Dier pledged to work with the concerned government institutions to resolve the matter and make the best out of South Sudan’s membership into IGAD and its productive regional projects.
