WORLD BANK COUNTRY MANAGER PAYS A COURTESY VISIT TO THE MINISTER OF FINANCE

The Country Manager of the World Bank Group, Charles Undeland paid a courtesy visit to the Minister of Finance and Planning, Hon. Dr. Bak Barnaba Chol.

Undeland briefed the Minister about World Bank projects in South Sudan and their support to Public Financial Management (PFM) reform programs. He emphasized the importance of co-financing commitments between the Government and World Bank and the need to strengthen cooperation in project implementation process.

Minister Bak underscored the government’s readiness to work with World Bank and other development partners to address basic developmental needs in the country.
